Ke$ha Sets Female Download Record...

Ke$ha TiK ToK Album Cover

SIKE...it's not me but the new pop singer with my name! Crazy - in all my years, I have never met anyone with my name...pronounced "Kesh"...like the word "fresh". NOT Kasha or Keisha...but Kesh-a! I felt so unique yet so name-butchered for ages...until now that is---> I am no longer the only Kesha in the world. And it just so happened that Yahoo News reported that she sold over 600,000 digital tracks of her debut song TiK ToK.

So much for being the only Kesh in the world...but maybe this will bring refuge to my ever-so butchered name. Go girl - let's make our name a household name!

Thang - Fiorio Hair Salon

Paula Brancati - Hit TV Show Degrassi: The Next Generation

Paula and I before the show

I had the pleasure of working for the Miss Teen Canada Pageant held downtown Toronto. It was a long day but had an amazing time with some talented young women! Also met some amazing hair stylists from Fiorio Hair Salon (my buddies Thang and Jeff Crone!). In addition to the contestants, I had the opportunity to do make-up for Paula from the hit show Degrassi High...as she was one of the co-hosts. She was a pleasure to work with...such a funny girl! Above are some of my make-up pics from the pageant. Enjoy!

Kesh Fave: My Ultimate Black Liner...

I have been asked by quite a few people lately about what eyeliner I have been using. Well, let me tell you that a couple months ago...I, like many others, ran into the MAC Pro on Queen St. in excitement for the launch of the STYLE BLACK line. During my adventures there, I uncovered my most treasured item in the line - the PENULTIMATE EYELINER. It actually looks pretty similar to those felt markers you used to beg your teacher to use in kindergarten! Or the markers you would use on the plastic sheets for overhead projectors? (Do these even still exist?!?)

I was truly impressed with this product. I have had it for a couple months now and it has not faded...and the best part is - it's still sharp (felt tip point = no need to get caught with a dull pencil and no sharpener)!

Are you apprehensive about putting on eyeliner? Does your line end up being crooked regardless of how much you concentrate to have a steady hand? Do you yearn for the crisp and dark line that never seems to happen with a pencil? Then this is the eyeliner for you! I feel that it can make even an amateur make a greatly lined eye. I believe this liner retails for about $20CAD.

So many of my friends have now picked this up and it has quickly become a favourite. This eyeliner also helps you perfect the "winged eyeliner" look. Trust me - you'll love it.

The only downfall I would say is that this is obviously not a good tool for makeup artists - not very hygenic! I will stick to my coal liners and gel mini-pots for work!

My only hope is that MAC continues this product or one like it in its core line! I mean - it has become a major part of my personal makeup bag!

PS - who knew you could write this much about black eyeliner!

Here are some pics I took of Lucian Matis' 2010 Spring/Summer Collection at LG Fashion Week:

His designs are unique and the accessories in this show were truly statement pieces. I have been dying to wear one of the jeweled headpieces with the bowtie on the side...now I just need the perfect venue to rock it! I know I will be at the sale tomorrow...I am in search of a beautiful little black dress for an upcoming holiday party...but definitely a stand-out dress. I will keep you posted on my finds!
